The Sri Chinmoy Centre has been my life, my journey and my home for many years. I hope these pages offer a small glimpse into the joy, the grace and the wonder that is Sri Chinmoy. But history has a way of compressing all that has passed, into a single moment. And whether we were the first to come, or the last; whether we brought the original glass of water, or took the final prasad; whether we sang the ope.

I am very grateful to Sri Chinmoy, my Spiritual Guru, who I can also call my running Guru as he has inspired me from my very first days of running to learn how to race faster and longer and to experience the thrill of self-transcendence through running. Durba is a spiritual name which means Sacred Grass. I became a student of Sri Chinmoy in 1990, a year after I have migrated to Australia. When I first explored meditation, I was looking for something to help me relax and to improve my concentration. What ensued in the next 15 years or so, is nothing short of miracle.
